Today, I’ve decided to write a theater-themed post. I was so inspired from Katy! the Musical that I just saw last Jan. 20, 2012 on CCP and I resolved to make a How-To-___ article.

 

How to become a Theater Critique or Write a Review for a Theater Play/Musical

A critique is an evaluation of a performance of a show. I know not everyone of you were obsessed like me, so I’m not expecting you to follow everything I said. Some of it was a bit biased on my personality.

Doomsday

I wrote this on 12/12/12 but I was (1) too lazy to post it so it was a bit late and I didn’t change anymore what I’ve started and (2) it was very long to finish with my busy schedule. After all, if the doomsday was real, this will be my last, longest post ever.

Doomsday-preparation Wednesday

Today, UST held a fire/earthquake drill on this memorable day (12/12/12). What are they trying to do: get the media’s attention so the headlines will say the Thomasian community is doomsday-ready?

So after my first class, I went to have shower and reflected, is the doomsday for real? People are saying that they believe what the Mayans predicted; while others say only God can predict it. There are even beliefs about Nostradamus’s line about the end and relating it to the pop culture Gangnam style by Psy who was now having the record of the most viewed video on YouTube (surpassing Justin Bieber’s Baby)

As I was saying, I’m reflecting, I will be 9 days till the end and I think I’m prepared to die. It’s because of the series of events that happened to me since Thursday.

I never wrote anything about the Sunday service since birth but since I & my sister went for the first time at TheFeast on PICC last Sunday (Dec 2), the homily and the talk of Bro. Bo Sanchez was an amazing combo for a day that I have to blog about it.

It wasn’t my intention at first that I will blog about this so I kinda forget a little of what the priest’s sermon. I started taking down notes in the middle of Bro. Bo’s talk. Here is the summary:

It’s more fun in the Philippines

This is one of the rarerest conditions that I will violate my principles. I know I’m the girl who was least qualified to be called ‘Patriotic’ since I judge myself, my country, the talents, the quality of everything, etc. so much that it was so degrading (You can’t always blame colonial mentality. We know we’re not good enough. Sometimes.).

But here, this AVP by the Dept. of Tourism was really cool, I can’t make an excuse that you shouldn’t visit my country.

Married to Jonas :D

Last night, I marathon-ed 10 episodes of the reality TV show Married to Jonas. I have it all this time but I can’t find the time to watch it. I just remembered it because of this:

At first, I was expecting that in this show, I will learn how will it be if I got married to a Jonas Brother. And I was also thinking of making a review by writing a post to my blog. But instead of criticizing it, I just wrote a list of scenes that appeal to me or a list that you should wait for or look forward to and some side comments.
